I've heard the Hyper 212 isn't that good anymore, but considering I won't be OC'ing, I'm wondering if this is enough or if I should go for a Noctua etc. Would a Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition provide sufficient cooling for this build which has 6 120mm fans & will not be overclocked (at least for the foreseeable future)? Take the cooler and remove the front fan, then very carefully place it on your CPU lining up the screws on the mounting bars with the holes from the bolts in the backplate. First take the supplied thermal paste and apply it on your CPU. Ok now it is time to get the cooler on your CPU. There are different mounting bars for Intel and AMD so be sure to follow the instructions and use the correct ones. Now take the cooler and install the mounting bars on the bottom. With the Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition we have yet another different mounting system than the two previous Cooler Master coolers we’ve reviewed.
